Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego ! I think it is more like Where in the world is Adriel Brooks and what am I thinking? Anyway its already 1:50 in the afternoon and I already have been very busy. With a move on the way on my days off I am doing a lot of cleaning and errands. Today I have to go to work and pick up a few boxes, drop of cloths at the consignment store and drop off things at goodwill (I love doing my part especially as I have learned what these places are for and how important they are to our community). I plan then to come on home because I have to come back to the house and start on next weeks assignments. I can’t believe summer school is almost over and then in two weeks I am going to start my official last semester. When I was doing this map I was actually thinking about my career and how it has been so winding. There is many things I can not understand but I know that everything will work out for my good. I can’t wait to mail out announcements (if I have any money left) I know what they are already going to say. I really want the verse that was on my graduation cards to go on my graduate cards it reads:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
~ Isaiah 40:31
This is how I created todays Daily Create first I googled ” Fredericksburg Central Park”. Then I took a screen shot of of the map and then from there I opened it with iphoto (As Seen Below):
In Iphoto I cropped the picture so all the picture that i did not want where gone. I then decided to uploaded into “Gimp” I then decided that “Gimp” was not the right tool for the job so I switched to Photoflexer. I decided that it was not the right tool because when I used the “Pencil” function it was to big a dot on the map and I did’t know how to make it smaller do I decided to go with a different program. I then uploaded the picture to photoflexer using the “upload” button then I went to the “Pencil” function in photoflexer (it is under Decorate> Draw). I also adjusted the size of the pencil so the dots would not look so big. In the picture the reader can see different size dots and colors. I did this so who ever is reading the maps understand it better. The big dots stand for where I am leaving and go to, the red dots indicated stops and the smaller dots indicated where I am traveling back to.
